Hey guys,

Chapter 3 has arrived, and it's the final chapter. I'm absolutely thrilled about what's coming next for my passion project.

Previous chapter:

The Project

Meets RoadToJobs - the personal interview tracking app.

RoadToJobs helps you to:

  • Create a journey for every interview period in your life.

  • Mark a goal for the journey and start to tackle it.

  • Track every status and proactively handle the progress of the interview.

  • Noted everything, noted today, and great lessons for tomorrow.

  • Manage your own blocklist, personal avoid,... for future reference.

  • ...

Reasons why I decided to build RoadToJobs

I used to utilize Trello, where each card represented a company, and I would diligently note down all the necessary information.

Things looked cool at first, but after a while, I realized that I can't utilize the notes to the fullest, e.g.:

  • I have to view every card to check out the old notes

  • I have to use another note platform to note the improvements,... ๐Ÿคฏ

  • I couldn't keep track of my "avoid-list" companies

  • ...

A lot, right?

So, what if I create an amazing interview-tracking app that not only assists me but also helps others out there?

I got an idea, and I tacked for it ๐Ÿ˜†

The Offers from RoadToJobs

The RoadToJobs offers 2 versions:

The Story Conclusion

To wrap up everything, after the RoadToJobs project, I've improved my:

  • NodeJS x TypeScript

  • DDD - Domain-driven Development

  • Vue 3 x Composition API x TypeScript

  • CI/CD & Zero-downtime deployment

  • Scalable NodeJS

  • ...

Mannn, that was a lot, wasn't it?

And I have an opportunity to roll out the cloud version soon to the world ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hands-on experience matters, focus on doing things after acknowledging the knowledge, and don't waste it ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks for following and reading this story! Love ya.

Cheers!
